Part of the aims of the DDSRA is to encourage more participation and viewing of competitive squash. The aim of this page is to highlight details of upcoming competitions in Scotland (and elsewhere in the UK).

– An opportunity to watch some great squash – 2012 Scottish Squash Junior Open

You are invited to join in a celebration of the best young squash players in the world at the 2012 Scottish Junior Open to be held from Saturday the 7th January until Tuesday the 10th January 2012 at Heriot Watt University Centre for Sport and Exercise, Riccarton Campus, Edinburgh.

This international competition boasts over 100 competitors from 18 different countries competing in male & female age based events.

As a Grand Prix event on the European Junior Circuit, the Scottish Junior Open sees players competing at a high level for important international ranking points.

Matches start at 10am and finish at 5pm Saturday to Monday, with a break for lunch.

Finals will all be played on court 1 on Tuesday 10th January with a Winner’s Presentation at 1:30pm.

Entry for spectators is free.

There is car parking adjacent to the centre.

There is a regular bus service to the Campus.

The Riccarton Campus is adjacent to the Calder Road Park and Ride facility.

East Masters Championships
- 20th-22nd January 2012
- Edinburgh Sports Club
- Closing date 10/01/2012

Central Senior Ranking/Junior B – PSA Registered
- 21st-22nd January 2012
- Bridge of Allan Sports Club
- Closing date 13/01/2012

There are a limited number of spaces for these competitions so get your entry forms in early!
