Welcome to the website of the Dundee & District Squash Racquet Association

Dundee & District Squash Racquet Association (DDSRA ) is an association of Squash Clubs that covers Dundee , Angus , Perth (and the surrounding area) and St Andrews , Leuchars and other parts of Fife. DDSRA is affiliated to the Regional Association of Scottish Squash . Scottish Squash is the National Governing Body of squash and racquetball in Scotland.

The Association’s purpose is to encourage the game of squash which it does primarily through organising the inter-club league competitions held annually from October to April. DDSRA also encourages members to obtain the appropriate qualifications for coaching.

There are presently over 30 member clubs, details of which are available elsewhere on this website.

March 25th 2012 DDSRA Club Finals tournament – Venue Forthill Squash Club
Some thrilling squash was on display , the following Finals were played

• Ladies Knockout Final – Crieff Ladies 1 V Dundee University Ladies
• Mens A Knockout Plate Final – Town & Gown V Forthill 1
• Mens B Knockout Plate Final – Forthill 2 V David Lloyd 2

Results were as follows

• Ladies Knockout Final – Crieff Ladies 1 V Dundee University Ladies Crieff Ladies won 5-0
• Mens A Knockout Plate Final – Town & Gown V Forthill 1 Town and Gown won 3-2
• Mens B Knockout Plate Final – Forthill 2V David Lloyd 2 Forthill won 3-2

March 2012 saw the annual DDSRA individual tournament – further information below

Dundee and District Squash Racquets Association Individual tournament on Friday 9th, Saturday 10th and Sunday 11th March 2012 at Forthill Sports Club was a successful weekend (30 players competed in Mens Open and Handicap and Ladies handicap events , players came from Perth, Montrose, Arbroath, and St Andrews as well as Dundee) with some great squash for all to see.

The results are as follows:

• Mens Open winner Peter Buchan , runner up Boyd Kydd.
• Mens Handicap winner David Coutts, runner up Adam Park.
• Ladies Handicap winner Jan Parkinson , runner up Lisa Respinger.
• Mens Open Plate winner Holt Walters, runner up Saarthak Singh.
• Mens Handicap Plate winner Ben Johnston , runner up Mark McConnachie.
